TerraTrace has a deep respect for your privacy and we have taken significant steps to ensure that your information will stay safe.
Some important general information:
- Your LiveTopo data stays on Apple’s servers. We know that Apple has worked hard to create an environment that will protect your data on its servers so we take advantage of this by leaving it there. We do not download your data onto our servers.
- Apple provides your User identity security. We use “Sign-in-with-Apple” so that standard treatment of your identity can be maintained. During sign-in, you are given the option to supply your e-mail address or use a proxy e-mail address from Apple. In either case, we do not copy this address to our servers and it is not used for any marketing purposes whatsoever. This keeps all your information private and safe on Apple’s servers.
- We do not sell data to advertisers. One of the biggest hazards in today’s mobile application economy is the money to be made by selling your data. It’s a hazard for you because your data is what’s being sold. We avoid this hazard completely because we have no data to sell and it is against our policy to do so even if we did.
- If you contact us, we will hold on to that contact information so that we can communicate with you. This information includes your name, e-mail address and your message text. This information is not shared with 3rd parties and can be removed at your request.
We are committed to keeping your data safe. We are currently taking steps to ensure compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
